God Got This

“Behold I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?”

Jeremiah 32:27

When life happens, as it surely will, let not your heart be troubled. God is your present help in trouble, as it is written, “God shall perfect all that which concerns you.” Believing in God and believing that He is God are two different things. True faith is knowing that no matter how hard things may get, He is still God, as God Himself has promised us in the opening verse. Abraham is called the “father of faith” because against all the odds, he believed God without waiver. It is impossible to please God without faith, so much so Jesus Himself has said “When I return will I find faith.” You are a present in this world, so when life feels like it’s tearing you apart, it just wants to see the gift that is in you. Our battles and wars belong to God, and God alone. Spiritual warfare is real, but contending with the enemy is simply staying out of the ring with accusations, and simply reminding him that the Lord has rebuked him.

Nothing is saved, healed, done, or created without faith in God. As it is written, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” When you go through life’s fiery furnace, are you going to believe God will deliver you? Or will you lose your substance of faith? Let it be known, he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. I don’t know about you, but as for me when it’s all said and done, I would like my name to be written in the faith hall of fame like the saints in the Old Testament. Do not worry or be afraid, God has you. “Is anything too hard for God?” is not even a question or thought in my mind. Creation alone bears witness. We live by faith and not sight, so it does not matter what the situation before us looks like, or anyone’s opinion, God got this.

I remember many years ago, I was told by a doctor that I was going to die in a few months because my condition would get worse. I kindly rebuked his diagnosis and simply said that it’s not true, because God and I never had this conversation. So I sought out a new doctor and went in for a reevaluation and informed him what I was told by my previous doctor. He just looked at my chart and began to laugh, then replied “the doctor was so wrong, and I will probably outlive him.” I just replied, “I know because I know who I serve.” We always have to look to Jesus, from where our help comes from. As it is written, “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Simply put, the name of Jesus is above all names, and He reigns over everything.

So remain strong and courageous; continue to fight the good fight of faith, and run the race set for you with endurance. As it is written, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” You will make it, because God got this.
