Your A Winner
“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
1 Corinthians 15:57-58
I have fallen and I can’t get up. The devil is a liar, and nothing could be farther from the truth. As it is written, “Do not rejoice over me my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me.” A winner is simply one that gets past adversity, through faith. As a winner, the opponents of life will always show up to fight you harder. Some of these are opponents are called wilderness, deserts, pits, droughts, shadow of death, and desolations. Do not fear any of these opponents. And we win, knowing that God will brings us through them all by holding firm. As it is written, “Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.” Michael Jordan did not win every game, but he never lost a championship; nor was he taken to the limits, because he pushed it to the limits.
King David was victorious not because he fought well, but because he believed well. Oil and water can not be mixed, neither can waiver and faith. We have to be still and know that God is God. As it is written, “Being fully convinced that what He had promised, He was also able to perform.” Our opponents costs us much blood, sweat, tears, pain, injuries and sufferings. But let me remind you, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us.” It’s always better later; like the joy of popping champagne and getting the title after many hard fought victories through Christ.
Suffer now and live the rest of your life as champion

We don’t win if we don’t overcome, and we don’t win from the sidelines. Do not fear, or be afraid, or robbed of your peace. As it is written, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Let it be clear, I am not referring to a crown or title that is perishable, or the rules that go with it. As it is written, “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.” So let us not run in the flesh, but in discipline and obedience to what God says; so that we are not disqualified.
This is a battle that you will win. Keep moving, keep running, and keep pressing forward; because you are victorious in Jesus Christ.
