Fearless

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 27:1

As a child I entered the waters waist deep, it was not until I was fully submerged that I realized the waters were fine, and I had no reason to fear. It’s the same way with our goals, dreams, desires, and aspirations. We have to be all in or we don’t win. As it is written, “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.” Don’t let fear or anything else under the sun stop you from pursuing your heart desires. Faith is daily work and hard work brings much profit. No treasure is found until one digs deep, and no trophy is won until one competes for it. Jesus Himself has said “Launch out into the deep.” And let me remind you, no one scores until they go deep. We have no excuse to fear anything or anyone in our walk with God, or the pursuit of our dreams. As it is written “Do all that is in your heart, for God is with you.” And so much so, “If God is for us, then who can be against us.”

“He who observes the wind will not sow, and he who regards the cloud will not reap.”

You are the true weather forecaster, and the weather is subject to you, but only through faith. If we look at the clouds, we will be blind to the blue skies right behind it. Fear has kept us from living, kept us from our dreams, kept us from our aspirations, and made us slaves to our 9 to 5’s. So much so, we exist but are not living. This is not Christ’s will or His best for us. As it is written “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Let me remind you that God wants to bless us with the desires of our hearts, as we stay connected to Him without waiver. Joseph’s dreams brought him the sun, moon and the stars, so there is much left out there waiting to be claimed. As it is written “The world is yours.” Don’t let fear rob you from anything more under the sun. Take dominion over your vision, dreams, desires, aspirations and goals. Let nothing stop you from that next getaway, vacation, or cruise. As it is written, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that you ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.” So let us give God all the glory and all that He requires of us, and look up without fear for all of our heart desires at the appointed time.
