You Can’t Be Stopped

For You will light my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, by my God I can leap over a wall.

Psalm 18:28-29

Slavery did major psychological damage, and growing up in the ghettos was “all good” for nobody. But that doesn’t mean we can’t grow. As it is written, “For of old I have broken your yoke and burst your bonds.” Whoever or whatever is operating in your life as a pharaoh won’t show or tell you this; it’s up to you to study and show yourself approved, as well as knowing the Word of God yourself. Redemption Song, one of Bob Marley’s greatest hits, had one of the greatest lessons ever: “Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our minds.” Dream bigger, think bigger, talk bigger, work bigger, but most of all believe bigger. Don’t be tricked into limiting yourself, the sky is not the limit. As it is written, “The world is yours.” Joseph’s dreams brought him the sun, the moon, and the stars; so there is more left to reach for and to achieve.

God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory.

There’s a 100 percent chance that nothing can rain on our parade if we don’t allow it. As it is written, “If God is for us, then who can be against us.” It does not matter what the weather looks like or what the horoscope says, we have dominion. Let me remind you that Joshua and Elijah were so strong in the faith, that they actually controlled the weather. So with us having dominion on earth, we can choose to have sunshine or rain.

God is God all by Himself, but God is a God of relationship. So much so that He always raises up one man or woman to advance His Kingdom. In total togetherness, we can encourage each other in our darkness, going against our troops and our walls. Our Lord Jesus Himself, chose twelve to walk with Him in the midst of it all. You have loved, but the world did not love us back, with everything committed to us throughout history and today. But we have to keep our heads up and keep on moving. We should not forget, but we don’t have to remain in the stench of the evil done to us.

Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me.
