“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future.”

Jeremiah 29:11

Growing up, one of my favorite cartoons was GI JOE. They always said “Knowing was half the battle.” I often wondered what the other half was, and when I started studying the Bible, I figured it out. Faith and knowing are one in the same, but works is still needed. As it is written, “Faith without works is dead.” We can’t just read the Word, we have to be doers of the Word. If you want it, you have to go for it. All of God’s promises and plans for us have a requirement. We can not obtain God’s promises without obedience, we can’t get paid without working, we can’t reach our dreams without pressing forward. Even winning the lottery costs and has requirements.

If you want it, you have to go for it

Hope is simply waiting for eventually, and prayer makes one keep their heads up with expectations. As it is written, “There is hope for your future.” Everything as far as your eyes can see, is yours to obtain if you are willing to pursue it with perseverance. The opening is one of the most popular Bible verses in the world because of its promises. But do you know God’s plans for you? Or do you know how to find out? The answer is simple, you must be a friend of God! Jesus asked Jeremiah, “What do you see?” Being God’s friend, Jeremiah saw what God saw, and God responded: “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform my Word.” It’s my sincere hope that you will be so in tune with Jesus, that you will know His plans for your life and what He is doing, like He did with all the Saints.

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love Of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was giving to us.

Let us not lose hope and work towards all the plans, hopes, and the future that God has for us. As it is written, “Hard work brings much profit”. If you don’t give up, you shall reap the rewards. So aim high, stay the course, and write down the plans. You will know, you will get there. Stay in tune with Jesus, you got this.
