“Your sandals shall be iron and bronze; As your days, so shall your strength be.”

Deuteronomy 33:25

The account of Deuteronomy is one of my favorite books in the Bible. The opening verse has brought me through many dark days. Life is filled with many choices, like choosing to be strong, choosing to be courageous and choosing to function in the midst of it all, so we can prosper. Nature has its seasons, but what we sometimes fail to remember is that we have our very own seasons as well. As it is written, “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” But it’s in the night seasons, that we show who we belong to and what we are made of. Let us remember Job and all he endured. God’s most mentioned requirement of us is to be strong and courageous. No one gets past it, until they go through it. As it is written, “We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of Heaven.” The keys are keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus and not the storm; so we don’t sink or go under in our night seasons. God is still working and has gone ahead of you to work it out. But you have to press forward towards the end result.

God shall perfect all that which concerns you.

You can make it. Never give up or lose heart, there is always hope. And hope is simply waiting for eventually. It’s in the dark that brings forth life, dreams, growth, vision and more. Faith does not look back or waiver, but it makes us fully convinced that God is able to do all that He has promised. So against all the odds, believe God. As it is written, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Even if it’s a recession, depression, unemployment, inflation, mental health, anxiety, or the pandemic; Jesus still reigns in our rain. As it is written “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Men and women of God, it’s my sincere wish that love, faith, and hope be permanently engraved in your heart, and that you continually walk it out with Jesus.

Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

As long as it is called today and for our future, there is hope. And hope does not disappoint. So let us remain strong and courageous, for we live by faith and not what the situation looks like, or what the television says. Remaining strong and courageous, choosing to be sober, vigilant, resisting the enemy, and steadfast in faith. Our Lord Jesus Christ shall perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you when it’s all said and done.
