Faith

I have often considered faith a noun, filled with action and substance. Faith is the car that takes us on the road to our dreams, aspirations and goals. The road is filled with unlimited potholes and ever so cold. But in the midst of it all faith only has one direction and it is forward. It does not go to the right or to the left. Faith does not look back or make uturns. Faith never gives up, never retreats, never surrenders; but it stays the course. We all are part of one house, but we have different perspectives and shoes. But let us not get it twisted, the things we face and suffer on our different paths are common to man. So much so, King David provides us with a key with mastering the course of our lives.

I have set the Lord always before me; because He is my at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart heart is glad and my glory rejoices. My flesh also will rest in hope. For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. You will show me the path of life. Psalm 16:8-11

On our course of life there are several things we should know and do shown to us in the above verses.

Let us set the Lord before us.
God is at our right hand.
Let nothing moves us.
Let us be glad and rejoice.
Let us rest in hope.
God will not leave us nor forsake us.
Our Lord Jesus is on the throne.
God will lead us out.

So on our road to our destinations, let us remember that God loves for us is everlasting and God Himself has said that He will never leave us nor forsake us.
